I mostly work with women. This didn’t happen on purpose. I didn’t consciously say, “I only want to work with women,” however I believe because I work mostly in schools this just happened naturally. And I must admit I LOVE it. I LOVE working with women.

What I love most is, contrary to common lore, all the women I work with help each other. The stereotype seems to be that women don’t naturally support each other. However what I commonly witness in the groups of women I work with is when one women appears to be in distress the other women jump in to help. Wether that be in the form of moral support or offering tangible help, inevitably all the women try to help each other. What makes these women react differently than the stereotype, I have no idea, I can only guess.

First, by virtue of the nature of these groups the kinds of women who have joined are different. If this is the case then I would venture to guess that women’s nature, contrary to the stereotype, is to help each other. Second, I don’t know … and third, I really don’t know …

All I can say is every woman should experience the beauty and kindness of being part of a group in which they know they will be unconditionally supported, irrespective of the issue.
